Reflecting on our Time in SE Asia by Instructors

Hello friends and family! We are wrapping up our last few days in SE Asia and reflecting on all the things we’ve seen, experienced, and learned the past 8 weeks. This morning on our way to the airport everyone shared some of their favorite memories from their time in Thailand and Cambodia:

Feeding elephants in Krabi with NatureMind-ED.

Hiking along Cape Krathing to the beach in Phuket.

Dogpiles in hotel rooms.

Partying with our homestay families in Banteay Chhmar.

Riding the koyun tractor and playing football with local students.

Watching the sunset in the lotus field in Siem Reap.

Touring the temples of Angkor Wat.

Seeing beautiful views throughout Thailand and Cambodia.

Paddleboarding through the palm trees in Kampot.

As we begin our way home, everyone is excited to see loved ones and looking forward to finding ways to integrate new interests, passions and ideas into life in Portland. It’s been amazing to see how much the students have grown over two month, both individually and as team. Thank you to everyone in SE Asia and back home who helped and supported our students in making this journey!
