Portland, oregon
The title of this photo is “Can a Road be Home?” It was taken along Highway 26 heading to Portland from Bend, Oregon. This road was my first travel experience growing up and was where I learned to love the road as I do a home. My experiences abroad shaped who I am while traveling and made me appreciate how the road continuously shapes the part of me that feels most human. This was taken on Medium Format Film (Portra400 || Mamiya RB67)

The title of this piece is called “Joy, Alignment, & Love” and was taken on film. This is one of my earliest photos taken in my photography career. This was taken at Balboa Park in San Diego, California. I had never been here before and this image speaks to how much you find when in a new place. There is much joy, alignment and love in this photo, and I felt nothing during my first time leaving the country with Carpe Mundi.
