STUDENT UPDATE:

GETTING READY FOR DEPARTURE

2adventure2020.JPG

The 2020 cohorts are preparing for departure on February 12th! The Mandala cohort has seven students traveling to: Central America, Southeast Asia, and India. The Navegar cohort has 11 students that will all travel together to Central America.

As our students prepare to depart for their travels, they’ll meet with Carpe Mundi staff for eight hours every week in January, where they’ll begin their PSU coursework, experience team building challenges together, and take care of travel logistics. We call this “Jan Term.” We kicked off Jan Term last week with a day-long scavenger hunt through downtown Portland that is designed to stretch students’ comfort zones in the ways they’ll be challenged during their travels. It was a great start to the year!

Recently, one of our 2020 students, Daniela Baltag was featured in a local Portland newspaper, the Willamette Week.
