When is the application deadline?

Applications for Carpe Mundi scholarships are accepted on a rolling basis – meaning that they are reviewed as they are received and award decisions are then made. Once we receive your full application, Carpe Mundi will give you a call, followed by an in-person interview. The sooner you apply the better your chances of being accepted! 

Application Launch: November, 2018. 

Who is eligible for the Carpe Mundi scholarship programs?

To be eligible for both programs, students must demonstrate the following:

✓ Residence in the Portland Metro area

✓ High school diploma or GED by the time the program begins

✓ A student of Portland Community College, Mount Hood Community College, Clark Community College, Clackamas Community College or PSU as of Fall 2018

✓ Eligible for acceptance into Portland State University (ask us if you are uncertain) 

✓ Preference given to students that can obtain an United States passport (though not required)

To be eligible for Carpe College, students must demonstrate the following:

✓ First generation college student (no more than one immediate family member can have a college degree)

✓ Eligibility for the Pell Grant and the Oregon Opportunity Grant - applied for through FAFSA (the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid)

To be eligible for PDXchange, students must demonstrate the following: 

✓ Eligibility for the Oregon Opportunity Grant - applied for through OSAC (Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion)
